The Association of Chetti Melaka (Peranakan Indians) Singapore with The Lions Club of Singapore Garden City together is organizing a Dinner and Dance with a Peranakan theme – Harmony in Culture, on 17th May 2013, 7 p.m. at Furama Riverfront Hotel.
The guest of honour is former President of Singapore S.R. Nathan.
Lions District Governor Irene Tan will also be gracing the event with her attendance.
Through the success of this event, the two organizations will be able to do more community service projects.
The dinner is a formal 8 course Chinese meal with Peranakan desserts.
Halal Indonesian cuisine is also available (with full table booking).
Dress Code : Batik / Kebaya /Traditional
Entertainment is provided by Singapore’s reknowned dance company Main Wayang Company and other Peranakan associations. It will be an enjoyable evening filled with fun, dance and songs.
